A Time To Celebrate! Health Update

My PET scan from last week and my dr. from yesterday both announced they could not find any cancer cells in my body! Yes you read that correctly. Prayers have been answered and God is to get ALL the glory and praise on this one. He did a mighty big couple miracles! I am so grateful.
To be very clear the cancer nodes, 3 of them have disappeared within my body - gone. I still will and do have side affects of the treatment I had and some of those will be life long but who knows after yesterday I figure God could take care of that as well! There may also be another surgery in my future for other reasons. But let’s take it one day at a time! Today we celebrate and Praise God!
I smiled and giggled all the way to the airport yesterday I had prayed and sent out a picture in the morning saying “Open the floodgates of heaven, Let it rain!” I was asking for God to pour out miracles like rain: physically, spiritually and emotionally over me and the province because we do need “rain”. God sent a fellow believer from Ethiopia as my Uber driver and he said “Praise God” all the way to the airport. That was fun to have someone to rejoice with right away.
It was cloudy in the afternoon and they are as dry in Edmonton as we are here and begging for rain, when I walked onto the tarmac to the plane it was raining! Miracles happen daily.
There are many of you, probably more than I can count, I am sure I cannot name you all, that have been praying for me. You have been believing for me (because I was not always able to), helping me, and I want to acknowledge you and thank you from the bottom of my heart!❤️
I walked into Gord and Jades last night to find this beautiful bouquet on the table. (Top picture) A dear friend had ordered it and had it waiting for me on my arrival to celebrate my news with us! We were all touched and of course I cried. It made the celebration even more real.
To know you are not alone in a journey like the past 7-8 months has been another miracle: a huge huge miracle and blessing. Brian would thank you too.
May I ask you to continue to pray as my name comes to mind. A few more battles to be fought health-wise, and a couple still from Brian’s estate. Bless you,
One more miracle, I have a new job. I know crazy right! I was not even looking! But I am an Ambassador for Stahl Structures.
I have to share with you this company, Stahl Structures from Valleyview and they service northern Alberta and BC. These guys are the real deal. They were so kind to me, that I told Michael I would mention him and his company in a blog. They went way over and above for me and my family. We are very grateful. Michael offered me a job to be a dealer for them.
I had contacted them after seeing a Facebook ad for a cabin shell and it would not leave me, so I inquired more about it. Well I ended up buying a cabin which means they build the outer part and we will finish it inside. It is a very efficient way to get a building up quickly. They did not ask for a huge down payment, were willing to work with my floor plan, and my ideas. Michael was so receptive and quick to reply to all my thousands of questions. You know I had a few of those!
I did not have to pay until I did a walk through with them to ensure it was to my liking and their prices were more than fair.
What they do is, they build the building on their site and then disassemble it and bring it over, yes delivery is free within a certain radius to their shop, and their team reassembles it at your property. If it is portable like a shed it comes completely finished. (I have one of those from them too).
My family and I are so impressed with the workmanship in the shed and cabin, they are well built, sturdy and they went out of their way to make sure it was what I wanted.
They were here 2 days and watching them work was almost like watching an old fashioned “barn raising” as they each knew what to do and the process was streamlined into a finely oiled machine, these are hard working guys.
We love the cabin and the shed and we love Michael and his team! Stahl Structures has a website or you can find them on Facebook like I did. You can come and view mine! They can build anything you can dream up and can do more finishing if you would like as well.
Other news around the farmstead we have a few big projects in the works. I am trying to get grass to grow, I do ask God daily to water my seeds and some days He complies other days, I water. I have to admit I kind of gave up since I haven’t seen any growth. But after yesterdays news I kind of think God can handle grass growing.
I have to haul water in, everyone around my area does, it has been a great experience for me to learn to go to town and haul water in our truck all by myself. I do pray that no one else would be there to watch me until I get feeling more experienced, but I get it done!
I have my gardens in and that feels good, I did not go all out this year and that feels totally fine.
My chickens are loving life, I get about 2 dozen eggs a day. The chickens follow me around and wait for their treat. I call it chicken “crack” but it is really meal worms, dried meal worms. At first it was soooo disgusting to me but now I just grab a scoop and sprinkle them on the ground and the girls go crazy! It is very fun to watch.
The cabin will be a slow project to be “finished” as we are working on completing the chapel. We are at the mudding and taping stage in the chapel. The jobs left are all massive and more than a 1 guy job so Glen has to wait to find helpers, but it is 80% done. It is coming!
There is never “nothing” to do here especially since we are off grid. I say, most people live to work, but here we work to live. My energy level has not been as good as it used to be but Glen is here to help me and I am so thankful for that, we make a good team.
Thank you again for your support and prayers and for reading my blogs, they have been therapeutic this past season for me.
