After last week’s blog, I watched as people read it, I cannot see names, but rather numbers pop up on my account. Normally on Wednesday I get comments back, I get messages. But last week, wow, it got strangely silent.
I found that to be interesting.
It is like in life where we do not know what to do, or say, so we do nothing, or we think life is out of control and oh man, that just sucks and we do not say anything, it is uncomfortable, it is awkward. This is why we do not get involved in other peoples lives, because we honestly do not know what to do. I totally get that.
It caused my brain to shift into teaching mode. Can we do a bit of a teaching session
right now?
Last week’s blog, yes it was not wonderful news, but can I tell you something? That was the best opportunity that you ever had to reach out and say: I am proclaiming and declaring your healing. We as believers must keep our eyes up no matter what our eyes see or what people say down here. Why? Because we are a people of faith. Faith that you can see is not faith at all!
It struck me that probably we have perhaps, now this is just my own thinking here, but perhaps, many of you are praying wrong. What I mean by that is, take these examples:
1) “Oh God, help Jane.” May I ask, please stop that.
2) “Oh God, kill all the cancer cells.” Can I say, please stop that too.
3) “Oh God, I pray that You would…..” Also stop this one too.
This is the way a great many Christians pray, we ask God to do the things we need Him to do. There are times for “Oh God help” type prayers, but what if there is another way, a more powerful way. A way that God invites you to partner with Him in the work of His Kingdom.
You are aware that His Kingdom is already at work here on earth, it is everywhere! Everywhere you and I set our feet. Your job is to bring the Kingdom of God to the world.
“But you will receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8
You could spend a lot of time just looking and pulling apart this scripture in Acts, but a couple of questions come: you will receive power…. to do what? You shall be my witnesses…. to do what? Where are we to be witnesses…. looks like at home, away, in our enemy’s territory and wherever we are in the world. A pretty significant mission that God has given us.
We cannot do this job without the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s power, supernatural power to use for God’s glory and in peoples lives. Witnesses are people who have seen something and can testify to it. Have you seen God work in your life, in the life of others? Even if you do not have your own story, which you should, we have the stories of the Bible, those are testimonies, and we can share them.
God states: “your words have the power of life and death.” God's words, and linked with the Holy Spirit of God, now, Your words, and my words. Proverbs 18:21 It is what He says about your words.
God created the world with His words, He spoke and it came to be, words then can have creative and miraculous powers. As believers in the Lord Jesus who said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” Luke 9:1
What works are we to do? Use our words, words laced with the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit of God.
“Oh God help Jane…” NO! Do not ask God to do it, use Your words, God already provided us with the power of the Holy Spirit and gave us the tools, we are to use what He has already given us. He looks down from heaven when we pray and wonders why we are not doing the work (s) that He has asked us to do, especially when He gave us His Spirit to help us to do it.
“At the name of Jesus Christ every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11 Everything will bow. Jesus Christ is ruler over everything. Our words based on the power of the blood and broken body of Jesus Christ, your words have power, your words create, your words have life.
Please when you pray for me, do not join my name to any cancer, I do not want to claim it, I do not want to own it, I want it out of here! For example: ‘get rid of Jane’s cancer’ – nope, and nope, it is not my cancer, not ever, I will not own it and I wish for you not to own it for me.
So how should you pray for me? Here are a couple examples:
“Oh Father, thank you that you have given me, through Jesus Christ’s death and the Holy Spirit, power and authority, and with that authority, I proclaim over Jane - health, and only health. Any cells in her body that are not from God, need to die, shrivel up, and get out of her in Jesus’ name. I speak to her body to align with Godly order as God created her to have. I ask this in Jesus’ name.”
“Heavenly Father, Maker of the Universe, Jehovah, Jehovah Jira, Jehovah Rafa the God who heals, El Roi, the God who sees us. Based on those things God and Your Word, Your spoken Word, Your written Word, Your Word who is the Lord Jesus Christ, I proclaim and declare health and healing over Jane right now. I proclaim and speak healing to every cell in her body based on Jesus Christ, I speak health, I speak wholeness, I speak life. Holy Spirit breath life on those cells that are being manipulated and replicated unhealthily, we speak death to the cells that do not need to live. Thank you Father and we ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen”
“Father God, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit thank you for allowing me to partner with you. I declare and proclaim in the authority of Jesus Christ that the treatment Jane will receive will have Holy Spirit accuracy to target diseased cells in Janes body and eradicate them entirely. I ask for a creative miracle of the Holy Spirit to restore and breath life and health on and into Janes body. Thank you. In Jesus name I ask this.”
Those are some prayers right? They feel different, it is a different mind set, you can feel the power of God behind them, they are not weak, they are powerful. We are called to be God’s hand and feet, and His mouth and words while we journey here on earth. He wants us to partner with Him in the lives of others, He has told us how and what to do in His word, the Bible. Start praying like this for all people you know!
Are you reading God’s Word, the Bible? Open it, open the Bible and start reading, learn what it says. There is coming a time, and it is happening right now all around us AI – artificial intelligence, is rising up and it is going to interpret the Bible for you. It is going to tell you what to think, how to think, including what the Bible says. People are now all over the world doing that for you but it is going to get worse. If you do not know what the Bible says: it is the Word, it is the Truth, it is the Life and that is also the words spoken about Jesus. If you do not know this, you are going to find yourself in some pretty dicey situations. It is imperative that you know you have the power of the Living God inside of you to help you and to help others.
At this point in my life: My life is between a miracle and heaven, but aren’t we all?
I would be okay if God says, you are coming home to heaven and I would be fine if He said, “you are going to be okay, because I have some more work for you.” I will be starting immune therapy next week, the 20th. I am believing that God has a glorious hope for me, I am not sure which it is and that can be disconcerting to say the least. But I know I have praying friends and I know now that I have friends with power in their words and power in their prayers.
But you know what? I think God is worth it. He thought I was worth it, He thought I was worth dying for. I think He is pretty special, and I think He is worth living for. So while I have breath, while I have life, I will proclaim and declare that God is good, that God is kind, and that God is loving, until the day He takes me home and I will probably be doing “teaching moments” all along the way…..
Jane, years ago I heard a mighty phrase….saying ‘’ We are all carriers of His Mantle’’ …Power, Authority and Dominion over all earthly things! Always recharges me to continue to walk in His grace, so many times I reflect back on this! Thanks Jane.
Amen, so good!! He gave us all power, authority and dominion over all earthly things. Let's use it for His glory and speak LIFE! ✝️❤️✝️
Empowering teaching!!
